In Texas there are four (4) basic documents commonly used to cover the regular contigencies of estate planning. They are
1. A will
2. A Durable General Power of Attorney
3. A Durable Medical Power of Attorney
4. A "LIVING WlLL" legally know as a Directive to Physicians, Families and or Surrogates
Another document commonly made at the same time these others are executed is a HIPPA release of information document (we do not charge for HIPPA releases when the other documents are prepared.
